Let’s Talk Money: The Real Cost of a Business Video in 2025
Let’s Talk Money: The Real Cost of a Business Video in 2025
Let’s be honest, asking “how much?” can feel a bit awkward. You’re wondering if you can afford it, and we’re wondering how to explain that it’s not just “pointing a camera and pressing record.”
So, let’s pull back the curtain. Here’s what it costs to get a proper, professional video for your business.
The “Proper Job” – Our Core Video Package
For a broadcast-quality video that’s between one and three minutes long, you’re looking at around £1,400, minimum (spoiler ahead).
“Oof,” you might say. But here’s what you’re actually paying for. It’s three days of a 20-year veteran’s time, broken down like this:
- Day 1: The Brain Work. Half a day for us to meet, get the brief, and understand exactly what you need. Another half a day to write a script that actually sounds like a human wrote it.
- Day 2: The Action. A full day of filming with the latest cameras, lighting, and sound gear. We make you, your team, and your business look and sound brilliant.
- Day 3: The Magic. A full day in the edit suite, weaving it all together. This includes slick titles, name captions, subtitles (essential!), royalty-free music, and professional audio mixing.
Crucially, this includes one full review session where you get to watch the first cut and tell us what you want to change. We tweak it so you’ll love it.
Our Special Deal for Wiltshire Locals
Because we love working with our neighbours, we do that whole package for local businesses for a flat £1,200. We’ve chatted with small businesses around here, and the consensus is it’s a solid investment that pays for itself many times over in new customers and brand credibility – but without breaking the bank. NB. Please don’t ask us to film your wedding for this price. Not gonna happen. I mean, we could do it, no bother, but the faff…
What About Drones, Extra Locations, and Fancy Graphics?
This is where the price can climb. If you need extras, we just bill for the extra time and kit at our standard day rate. Things that add to the cost include:
- Filming for more than one day, or filming in multiple locations.
- Needing more than one camera (for a good interview, or an action sequence). This can run to around £400, for an operator plus camera.
- Specialist gear like drones, underwater cameras, or car-tracking rigs.
- Complex animations or motion graphics. These take time, and can really add up.
- Editing multiple versions of the same video (e.g., a long video for your site and a short one for socials). It comes down to time, basically.
We’ll work all of this out with you upfront, so there are no surprises.
The “Quick Win” for Your Social Media
Need something fast, punchy, and built for Instagram or LinkedIn? We get it.
For a 30-60 second social media video, we can turn it around in 24 hours for £200. This includes a quick brief, a simple shoot (often on a high-end phone for that authentic feel), a fast edit with captions, and it’s ready to post. If you want to do 2-3 videos like this, we can probably film them in the same session: 2 for £400 and 3 for £500.
If you want us to handle all your social video, we can talk about a monthly retainer.
The Bottom Line?
A professional video is an investment, not an expense. It’s your 24/7 salesperson.
